Aside from my driving taking the longest time to get to me, the food was outstanding, the brisket was on point. The ribs were falling off the bone, and pulled pork was smoked to perfection not to mention the sides of creamed corn and onion straws were delicious ( made a sandwich with the onion straws and bbq pulled pork ) should be on the menu your welcome! And thank you!

Honestly a bit disappointed. I'm not sure how big a portion half of a boneless chicken is, but if what I received is it, $29 is too big a price tag for two pieces of chicken smaller than the size of a boneless chicken thigh. The sides were ok, albeit lacking flavor, especially the Mac N' Cheese, which was quite dry and bland. The Potato Salad tasted similar to my mother's recipe which was a nice surprise, it just needed a bit of salt. The Cast Iron Cornbread was by far the best thing I ordered, a bit dry but flavor was good and the jalapeño jam was a good pairing. I wouldn't order from here again, in my opinion, the food just wasn't good enough to justify the price tag. $100 for two people just isn't worth it...

I felt the salad lacked substance for Gus's. Lots of lettuce and very little everything else. For $20 I found it disappointing. The fish sandwich was good but the collar greens very very salty.

The Vegetarian is like the best vegetarian burger I've tried in all of LA. Like insanely amazing, just add some sauce or ranch or ranch AND mashed potatoes with every bite and it's just the most delicious thing. Cast Iron Cornbread IS NEXT LEVEL. I think last time they cooked it a little longer and it was all caremlized and sweet on the edges and top.... this time it was amazing but not as caramelized.. the honey butter and a pinch of jalapeño jam is just magical with it . 10/10 would recommend.

The ribs were very good and tasty and fell off the bone. It just didn't seem like it was a full rack. The green beans were good and garlicky. The cole slaw seemed a little sour. Hopefully it's not old cole slaw.
