We started ordering from here last year and been HOOKED ever since! The burritos are so big, so flavorful and we love them so much we haven't ordered anything else! Chips so fresh and PICO is perfect!

I love Island Taqueria, they've been my go-to since before they were Island Taqueria(they used to be Alameda Taqueria ages ago.) 20 years or some ridiculously long time, no Vegetarian Burrito has topped them for me. They are they standard I hold other taqueria's to. The staff has always been amazing too. I'm always happy to walk in and see the same cook behind the counter and often a familar face at the register. This is the place!

While the nacho toppings were mostly great (wish it came with jalapeños), the chips are the light/crispy kind so by the time I got my order it was a soggy mess. This place needs to either use thicker chips or pack the toppings separately from the chips. Super disappointing to pay $20 for some unenjoyable soggy nachos.

If you're like me, when you eat super yummy food it makes you do a little happy-food-dance...and this place gets me dancing every single time. I absolutely love their vegetarian burrito (with extra salsa verde on the side, yum!) and their enchilada plate (I get the cheese) makes my day better every single time...their enchilada sauce is scrumptious! I always order a side of rice and beans, with extra pico de gallo for leftovers - without that, I'd just be ordering from these every day. Reliably delicious, reliably happy-making.
