• DoorDash orderWow! The best Chinese takeaway we've ever had! The vegetables were crisp and fresh and the flavors were very creative. We ordered Korean cauliflower, kung pao edamame, crown jewel with chicken, and the cashew stir-fry with tofu. Everything was amazing and we will definitely order from Ling's Wok Shop again!

• DoorDash orderFlavors were ok, but amount of protein in Vietnamese Noodle Salad was disappointing and the Buddha feast was absurd at 17.50. I got a small plastic tray with a few oz of veggies and tofu.

• DoorDash orderThe food was not lacking in flavor. The Mandarin, although a filling dish, felt light since each bite had a solid orange (fruit) taste. The Black Orchid Ahi was wonderful especially when combined with the sauce with which it was served.
What a treat!

• DoorDash orderFINALLY!! FINALLY!!!! An Asian cuisine restaurant in Scottsdale and on DoorDash, no less, that our whole family likes... that even I like. Ling's online menu and ordering options are easy, accommodating and fast AND you can make special requests (an option many places have eliminated). Everything we ordered was super flavorful. Perfectly cooked, tender shrimp and chicken. Vegetables were fresh and crunchy and they didn't overwhelm the dish. Maybe it's because they use sugar snaps, red peppers, onions & mushrooms instead of those typically found in Asian cuisine (snow peas, green peppers, water chestnuts and/or bean sprouts). My son, who will only eat orange chicken, really liked the Mandarin with crispy chicken -- even the veggies! One small change I'd make next time is to ask for the dumpling dipping sauce be on the side. It was too salty for my liking. Still we will order again from Ling's Wok Shop!

• DoorDash orderFirst time ordering here, was excited by the reviews but disappointed by the execution of pretty much every dish. Tend to frequent Asian food spots often here in AZ and while traveling, wanted this to be as good as it sounded/looked. Unfortunately, won't be eating here again.
Positives: Entrees are a good size. Very fresh. Cooked the right amount so the textures aren't off. Food was hot, service was prompt. Servers/staff seemed nice and friendly at pickup. All items had an appropriate amount of sauce (not swimming in it) and nothing was outright bad.
General negatives: The flavors weren't great, mediocre and mostly one-note. The appetizers (though labeled small bites) for the price were surprisingly small, especially in comparison to other Valley local staple Asian cuisine restaurants.
New Wave Pad Thai - Not sopping in sauce, not overly sweet. That was nice but the flavor was just ok. Sort of middle-of-the-road sweet and sour without much peanut or anything else making it taste like pad Thai.
Black Orchid Ahi - A little dry but good quality. Sauce was good. From the pictures they look like they'd be full slices, but they're halved.
Sake-Poached Shrimp - Good size, tender; very bland. Sauce is ok, just seemed like regular cocktail sauce.
Chicken Lettuce Wraps - Soy-forward tasting. Not bad. Small portion in comparison for what I've seen for price and appetizer style.
Kung Pao - Decent flavor. Fresh, vegetables cooked without being soggy. Spice almost overpowers the flavor, but solid heat to it.
Seoul Bowl - More balanced flavor than the rest. Again, spice almost overpowering in comparison to the flavor of the dish. But good heat.
Shanghai Noodz - Extremely bland. Good texture to everything just not much taste.
Edamame - Unsalted. Bland or unbalanced flavor seemed to be consistent across the board.
