Okay, WOWWW. I was nervous about ordering from a ghost kitchen, but this food was good! These OXTAIL DINNER oxtails are SMOKED to perfection, and fall off the bone. Amazing flavor in the meat and CAJUN RICE W/ SAUSAGE rice. Now the mac and cheese was cheesy, but needed some salt. Nonetheless, for overall value, I still give this order 5 stars!

The catfish fillets were too thick making them taste very fishy. The macaroni and cheese was beautiful but lacked flavor. Same thing about the Sides - Fried Cabbage. I had to add seasoning to it. Everything was very bland except the Smackin Meatloaf because it was covered with bbq sauce. I was really looking forward to try this restaurant but it was very disappointing. I do not recommend.

The Meat - Brisket was dry and tough on the moist end. The Meat - Smackin' Rib Tips tasted like lighter fluid. Side - Sweet Potatoes had too much cinnamon and sugar. The Sides - Fried Cabbage had, I think, baby shrimp that was shriveled up and was way overcooked. The Sides - Mac and Cheese was super sour and different. The Sides - Jalapeño Cornbread was delicious and flavorful. That's why they get an additional star. If you're going to sell brisket in Texas it should be on point, especially with Hutchins and Rudy's down the road.

The cabbage was not as described. It was like stewed, very spicy and no shrimp
The brisket quesadillas had a little brisket in one wedge per serving. The rest was all cheese. There was no sauce and what little brisket there was dry and no flavor. I would not recommend this place

This was the best brisket I've had in a long time. Someone from the store called to confirm my order and make a substitution for me. They were very nice. The mac & cheese and cajun rice were excellent as well. I'm excited to have found a new favorite!
