5 golden stars for this restarant is true facts. By far THE BEST! Ordered Ultimate Scotch Eggs If you havent tried them... you need to! Chicken Cheese Stuffed Jalapenos They are really good! Not your typical fried stuffed pepper. Theres a flavor and blend above all the rest of what youve tasted out there before.

Traditional Reuben Sandwich Hands down the real deal. Traditional Shepherd's Pie was very tasty. Another one of my favorites. I love their Peas in Butter and I will only eat theirs. Very fresh and doesn't taste like they were once frozen. Side Salad Wedge salad with crumbled blue cheese, bacon and red onions is super fresh and again just the right balance in flavors. Ordered the House-Made Potato Chips very good! Got extra to keep snacking on later. Same as their wedge potato fries, easily heat them up in toaster oven and still so good! Carrot Cake definetly made fresh and taste home made. My only complaint is they arent close enough to me that we could eat there more often. Everyone needs to try something from here. You cant go wrong.

The chili has good flavor. Has beans and onions. The added tots and cheese are a nice touch. Mild flavor not spicy..
The lamb pie is good. Its soft pastry is just right. A bit greasy for my liking as it drips it. The inside is good. Not too full. Has the meat and veggies. Tastes like a Shepard's pie inside a pastry. You can tell it's lamb though by the taste. It's ground up.
The Chicken Cheese Stuffed Jalapenos are pretty spicy so if you like that you will enjoy. they are very well stuffed with chicken. The ranch it comes with is a bit watery and has a strong taste of dill. Not my thing but someone may like that.

shepperd's pie had a thin layer of meat and was like 90% potato. The Stew arrived cold and was basically pastry in a sea of brown liquid and a few pieces of beef (which was tough). The Irish Lamb Pie was the right temperature and yummy. 2 stars because the Lamb Pie was that good.

There is so much life at Gillespie's! The staff is always incredible (returning from the days of Ye Shire), the kitchen is festive and the food is always a difficult decision on what to pick, but you can't choose wrong. Possibly the best Reuben in DFW.

Traditional Bangers & Mash was outstanding! The sausage was so tender and flavorful. Mashed potatoes & peas were like homemade.
