this is a small has 6 bones . the oxtails were tender very meaty. rice was cooked perfectly. definitely would come back for this

Ordered a large, the dish was manly rice and beans, it had 3 pieces of oxtail. Mac and cheese is subpar. Curry chicken lacked flavor. Plantains were on point but only got 4 slices which isnt worth the price.

I've eaten here since 2021 and have raved over these being the best oxtails in the city. It's been a year since I've had Hillside but was craving oxtails . Highly disappointed in the quality of meat. It's primarly fat and bones with 20% meat. The other reviews were right. Flavor is still good but doesn't matter when you can't get full off a $35 meal. Also not enough gravy for the rice, it was dry. I did enjoy the Candied Yams!

The curry chicken I ordered was really terrible. There was barely any rice in there and there was a lot of gravy. I also added the plantain which I paid over four dollars for. The plantain was not ripe and was hard to eat . Waste of money. I will never order from the store again.
