The food is AMAZING. This is my 2nd time ordering in a row. I first had the grits eggs and bacon with their homemade sausage. It was phenomenal. Today I had the roast beef and it was well seasoned and tender. Very delicious. My only complaint is the onions weren't cooked long enough. This place might as well take all my money because I'm a customer for life!

We've gone to Marmalade for many years and ordered via DoorDash quite a bit since the pandemic. It's changed so much. The decor (Sherman Oaks) went from warm french country cozy to white and drab inside and out. Our main complaint is the Chicken Piccata which we ordered 4 dinners a few weeks ago and it was almost inedible. So tart from too much lemon and the chicken was dry, the pasta portion was half what it used to be. The included salad was also so vinegary and sharp, no one ate it .
I never write reviews like this and it makes me sad because it used to be one of our favorite places but the last 3 or 4 times we've either gone there or ordered out, service was poor and food was not up to its old standard. Come back Marmalde.

Usually marmalade cafe is great, especially when it comes to quality and consistency. But these short Braised Boneless Short Ribs were chewy. They didn't even look tender. The flavor was good. But part of what makes short ribs worth the price is the tenderness of the meat. And these were definitely not worth the price.

Usually the food is good. Today pretty tasteless.
The pasta is chewy and hard. There's very little actual seafood in the pasta and it lacks overall flavor. The pot roast is not tender at all. It tastes like nothing was seasoned. It's not bad enough to throw out - it's edible, but it's not very good.
It's really expensive for bad food.

The delivery arrived quickly and the food was excellent. First time ordering the Marmalade Breakfast Tacos with a side of avocaod and my wife said they were delicious. The Florentine Benedict had poached eggs and the yolk was till runny like I like and the potatoes were well seasoned, crispy on the outside and soft inside. Will definitely order from here again.
