Aloha! Beach Hut Deli Tigard opened it's doors on Main Street in the heart of old downtown in the Summer of 2017. Locally owned and operated by John Goodhouse and his son Austin, Beach Hut Deli Tigard…
A little confused about all the reviews talking about huge sandwiches. These are regular sized sandwiches, and if you buy their small, you get half a regular sized sandwich. The large is just a whole sandwich. That being said, their ingredients are fresh, high quality, and very tasty. We love all the options offered to customize to taste. Great sandwiches. Which they should be at nearly $20 for a regular sized sandwich.
One thing we noticed with today's order, is that the sandwiches were far less stuffed with those great ingredients than usual. Disappointing considering the cost.
The Righteous Reuben had very little kraut or thousand island, far less pastrami, and so much mustard it was hard to taste anything else.
Added veggies and changed the dressing on the High Tide to the highly reviewed ranch, and it was so good. Still not much meat for the price. An unwelcome change.
The high quality, tasty ingredients in these sandwiches can't be beat. The prices are excessive for their size.

I was skeptical to order a $28.00 sandwich (XL surfin cow), but that thing was as wide as it was long! Full of fresh meat and vegetables. The bread was toasted but soft. I will happily pay for what I get, which is 2 meals with this thing!

This is my NEW favorite place to get lunch! The Chicken Poblano Soup and Cali Caprese sandwich have so much flavor! Everything is VERY well packaged, too! I am raving about your food to everyone! Great job!!

I placed this order 30 minutes before pickup. When I arrived my 3 sandwiches hadn't even been started yet and the guy at the front immediately announced a female coworker (who remained standing in the kitchen to care for her finger the entire transaction until the end when she thought it was a good idea to go sit at a guest table in the restaurant to hold paper towel around her bloody finger) I asked how long it would be and he told me 6 minutes but made sure to add they had a lot of catering to do also. Unprofessional and not my problem, bud. Management should be scheduling appropriately so you can take care of catering jobs as well as regular pick ups and walk in guests. The customer doesn't need to know about your work load, especially in relation to the service they are receiving. I proceeded to wait an additional 15 minutes before letting them know I would have to leave. Not that 45 minutes for 3 deli sandwiches isn't ridiculous already. He offered to refund me but said they were making my last sandwich then so I chose to wait. No apology, no discount, just attitude and it was totally unprofessional. Like I bothered him or ruined his day with my order. The sandwiches were thrown together, sloppy, and the Surfin' Bird was so stuffed with cream cheese just on one side, it was inedible. So was the Spicolli, the bread was utterly waterlogged and the ranch was dripping from the wrapper before it was even opened. A $50 order and it was a complete waste of money. I will never go here again and encourage anyone who considers it to save your money and go to a Subway or Jersey Mikes, much faster, cheaper, and far superior customer service.
