I ordered food from here while I was in town for a concert back in Nov. 2024. It's almost 3 months later and I'm still thinking about the best Half Fried Sweet Plantains I've ever had in my life and that incredible green sauce. I live in PA and I can't find anything CLOSE. Will definitely eat there anytime I am in Minneapolis, and recommend to everyone.

There's a lot of food so it's great value. Everything was flavorful. The cake was a bit dry and tasted "healthy" so it wasn't quite what I was looking for but wasn't bad. I live that they staple the bag! Thank you!!

Individual items all together can be a little pricey but overall the flavor is nice. I've been searching for some decent collard greens, Mac, fish fry, etc. all southern food and this place is in my top 3 after looking in the Minneapolis area for a little under a year now. The mac is a loose, creamy type which I don't usually like but I was happily surprised. The creamy spinach wasn't super creamy but the flavor was great, I wouldn't consider it spicy at all though. I'll definitely order here again when I want a home cooked meal without the work. The Fish Bowl was delicious and not sloppy.

The staff at Brasa consistently produce fresh, high quality, perfectly seasoned food. The Smothered Pulled Chicken Plate is one of my favs, the chicken is so tender and packed with flavor. I love the options for sides. Staff care about the details of your order. For example I've never eaten a wet limp salad from Brasa, the greens are always crisp and the preparation of each item in the salad is consistent. The harmonious flavors of the Vegetable & Chickpea Curry will satisfy vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters alike. Don't get me started on the Butterscotch Pudding It's not the box of powdered dust many adults over 45 grew up eating. It's upper level swalty (sweet+ salty) goodness....but not too sweet. Don't forget your red sauce and Sweet Corn-Cornbread. If you love perfect portions of cuddly comfort food in eco friendly packaging. Don't hesitate!! Brasa is a must try!! They have never forgotten anything in my order, ever! Serious quality control! I always reorder!!
