There's no option to request extra sauce through the app, and though I request it in the notes explaining this they never include it. The chicken is often under seasoned too. In general, this place has gotten stingier and the quality has gone down over the last year. There's quite a bit of turnover here and that reflects poorly on management. It is good in-person but on doordash I'm often disappointed.
One more note, it shows in the quality of food here that workers are not paid or treated as well as they should be. For a restaurant that thinks of itself as a cut above other fast food places, employees should also experience that distinction. Better pay, promotions, raises, and employee discounts are a few of these things. Until then, CA Hot Chicken will just be another Wendy's

Chicken was bland, the batter was flavored decent enough but the chicken itself had absolutely no flavor. Personally I wouldn't go again for that reason, I prefer Dave's Hot Chicken if I were eating out and in the mood for this kind of establishment.

Loaded Cali Fries were mostly cole slaw and had little to no chicken. Regular Cali Plate was good

This place was so bad the picture makes it look delicious but In reality wasn't the best the chicken itself was good but the breading and the fries where dry stale and tasted like pure onion powder
