El Asador has been in this area for quite awhile and for good reason. Of all the Hispanic restaurants in this area (Fredericksburg) this is by far the most authentic. I ordered the Pupusa de Chicharron a Side de Frijoles \ Beans and side of Spanish rice and all of it was spot on delicious. I take food seriously as a professional chef, that is my life and my passion...... if you're hungry for something with authentic Latin flavor, head to El Asador, it will not disappoint!

Not alot of yall are talking about them !!!!!! I ate that Taco De Birria Platota so fast! It's so good. The rice is cooked to perfection. The Pupusa Frijol Y Queso are hot and crispy. 1000/10. Take the time to treat yourself! I pretty picky when it comes to my Taco De Birria Plato but the consommé is my favortie thing to eat/drink. The best one I had was in New Jersey. But when I had this one I knew it was going to be my new favorite place. Dont think twice !! Order it!

Pupusas locas were on point. very tasty and almost like in El Salvador. chicken tamales are just OK, can tell they were frozen at some point and that they lack shortening and stock. packed properly and decently priced will definitely eat again

The Taco de Camarón / Shrimp Taco were tastless and a big disappointment. Each taco has only 3 very small shrimp. There were more cilantro and jalapeños than shrimp. Selectos has much better tacos de camarón.

The Pupusa Loca was amazing, very tasty. The Tacos de Birria plato were pretty solid however the consumé was a bit lacking in flavor. The overall meal was still worth the money and would reccomend ordering the next time you get a craving for tacos!
