Gyros Stop has been a staple in Springfield, Illinois since 1984, specializing in Greek-American cuisine. It was started by the Christofilakos family and is still currently family owned and operated.
The gyros was excellent...way more than I could eat in one setting. The fries were a very generous portion. They tasted like homemade and not too salty. I would definitely recommend.

Gyro and Breaded Cauliflower (15)both. very good!tons of meat on the gyro. I asked for extra cucumber sauce and got it. delicious 😋

The Falafel were very mushy. More like mashed potato balls than actual falafel. The Sweet Corn Nuggets (10) weren't cooked all the way so they were also mushy.

1st time ordering from Joey G's. im impressed! tons of fries. Gyro was almost too big to eat🤣😁 But I got over that pretty quick! Great job Joey G's
