• DoorDash reviewBest Sunday lunch I've had since my Mom died in 2004! Pork chop is huge, taters, corn & mac & cheese amazing. Devil eggs & peach cobbler are in a class all their own! Highly recommend this place.

• DoorDash orderPlaced order at 4:57- restaurant didnt have it ready until 6:10. Estimated delivery time when I placed the order was 24-36 min. I only ordered 4 meals- two of which was the same. The dasher was extremely nice and informed me none of the dashers like taking orders from this place because they take so long. Apparently this place is a bar and gives priority to the people ordering at the bar over door dash orders.
Now on to the food.
Shrimp, rice, fries and chicken was all room temp. (Actual drive time from resturant to my location was 7 min.) Pasta was hot.
Shrimp was good. Fries were as expected. Mac and cheese was decent, nothing special. Deviled eggs were good- they had an unexpected sweetness to the filling.
Chicken on the pasta was super dry. And the Alfredo was non existent. And Idont like a lot of alfredo on my pasta. But it tasted like butter noodles mostly with some melted cheese sprinkled here and there.
Burger tasted decent. No condiments were included. Had to get some from the hotel.
The Red Rice was amazing. I wish I had just ordered a meal out of it. Thats the one star- for the rice.

• DoorDash reviewI hate my food to touch. The three pieces of chicken were place atop the small amount of rice. The oil from the chicken left the rice swimming in it. Apparently, the chicken wasn't allowed to rest as it melted the bottom on the container.
The worst food I have ever had in my life.

• DoorDash orderAmazing, home cooked, made-to-order deliciousness. Everything on the menu is great, especially the Mac n Cheese, Collards, Chicken Tenders (4 Pieces), Salisbury Steak, Ox tail, blackened whitefish...I could go on and on. Love, love, love Mama Joy's!

• DoorDash orderI'm usually skeptical when I get turkey wings from restaurants, but these were really good and the rice was cooked just right.
I was not a fan of the peach cobbler.
Also, the drink was child-sized. I don't think I've ever gotten a drink cup that small from a restaurant. That was ridiculous.
