Everything was surprisingly good! Great alternative for people craving sushi on a budget

Half off special on grocery store sushi, normally I wouldn't bite, but I've heard some really great things about Ralph's sushi and this didnt disappoint. The Sashimi Sampler - Salmon w/ Cucumber and Marina Plate - Salmon, Tuna had fresh fish, one sniff and zero fishy smell said it all. Vibrant color, and delicious flavor. I also tried the Duo Combo - Rainbow & Spicy Tuna Roll, fresh sushi rice and nice flavored fish. With all of the sushi choices in SD, I wouldnt pay full price for these since they cost about the same as restaurant sushi, but discount them like today and I'd come back for this again for sure!

My Tigre Picante - Pork Shumai showed up frozen solid.... but the sushi wasn't bad for being discounted tbh. SPAM® Norimaki Sushi Roll should be cooked spam but it also came raw.

As much as I have enjoyed their sushi in the past, I was really dissatisfied with the Samurai Tray. It did NOT have 40 pieces , it had 25, and not the same rolls as described. Dont buy.

It's not great more like cod rice with a decent chew and low flavor. but it's worth the price. l
