I was skeptical but wanted to try it after seeing the woman reviewing the NYT Top 100 list give it so much praise. The food was amazing. We got two of the Pastrami Beef Tongue Scallion Pancakes, a Millet Mochi Donut and a Pine Nut Sun Cookie and planned to have it be brunch. The food arrived piping hot. The donut was just fried and amazing. We could have eaten just those and been fine. The pancakes were delicious and incredibly filling. We were really hungry when we ordered, and both of us struggled to finish our meals with how full we were. Overall, fantastic. It's going into our frequent brunch lineup.

quite possibly the best Double Smash Cheeseburger. Side Scallion Pancake and Pan-Griddled Pork Buns are a great combo those fries and the extra veg sauce from pork buns are like a taiwanese poutine. highly satisfied. great to share for 2 people. will be back to order again and this place only knows how to use fresh ingredients.

Everything I've tried is consistently flavorful, delicious and fresh! My favorites are the BEC Scallion Pancake and the Pine Nut Sun Cookie , it's a unique treat that I've become addicted to.

The Pork Fan Tuan was extremely small and wasn't worth the price. Gentrified Asian food at its best. Xia Scallion Pancake had a very over powering cheese that took away from the sweet fragrance of the shrimp cake. The sauce that came with it was not complimentary to it either - extremely heavy given the already greasy and heavy pancake and cheese.

Xia Scallion Pancake and Double Smash Cheeseburger slap every single time. Millet Mochi Donut is the greatest dessert you can get for $5. Turnip Cake is important to get so you don't eat the whole scallion pancake in one sitting. Black Sesame Marshmallow Mooncake left something to be desired!
