What happens if an item is out of stock, unavailable or a different price?
If any items are out of stock, your shopper will contact you while shopping to pick a substitute. If your substitute is also unavailable or you do not choose one, you will receive a refund for the item(s) not in stock. If a substitute is a different price from the original item you selected, the difference will be applied to your final receipt.
What is the Quality Guarantee for groceries on DoorDash?
Quality Guarantee: Customers are eligible to receive a refund or DoorDash credit for an item that qualifies for the Quality Guarantee if they report a Qualifying Issue (defined below). To be eligible, customers must: - Place an order on DoorDash at a Grocery store where a Quality Guarantee banner is indicated on the store homepage (“Qualifying order”); - Experience a “Qualifying issue”, which means that a customer has ordered and received a Qualifying order and that order does not satisfy quality standards (e.g. the item is spoiled or not fresh, incorrect item is received, item is not received or customer is unhappy with substitution choice); and - Report the Qualifying issue using the app’s self help tool within 24 hours and selecting the applicable reason code. - Alcohol and gift cards are not eligible items under the Quality Guarantee. - Customers using an EBT card as payment will be refunded back to their EBT card.
